Campus Management at the Rudbeck Laboratory
The Campus Management is a service unit responsible for common functions for the institutions and departments within the Campus Management area. At the Rudbeck Laboratory this consists of buildings C11, R3, R4 and parts of C5 and MTC. The service includes reception, janitorial, management of lecture halls, conference and seminar rooms, key and access card management, mail and goods handling, contacts with the real estate manager and several other functions of common nature.

The reception is located at the main entrance.
Opening hours:
Monday-Friday 8:30-15:00, (closed for lunch 11:00-11:45).
Weekends and holidays closed.
At the reception you can for example get help with:
- borrow portable camera for video conference, hearing loops, laser pointer/presenter, etc.
- handle keys and access card matters
- reserve the Rudbeck Hall
- handle lost and found items
- onetime passcode for account activation
If you want to put up a notice on the noticeboard at the entrance, contact the reception.

The staff collects dirty items at specific stations in the corridors.
The facility is manned Monday-Friday 07:00-15:30, (unmanned during lunch 11:00-11:30).
Other hours, as well as weekends and holidays, it is unmanned.

Please call before visiting, as the caretakers may be busy with work elsewhere in the premises.
You can turn to the caretakers if you want help, for example with refurnishing or relocation of furniture or appliances, mounting of shelves, or if you have mail and parcel issues. Ordering of job is done via email.
Error report on the property, such as heating, cooling, water, drainage, fixed installations, etc., is made to the caretakers by phone or via email. If it regards urgent matters, (broken water pipe etc.), please call the Academic Hospital's operations center, tel. 018-611 50 00.

Mail is delivered and collected once a day; incoming mail is delivered around 9:00 and outgoing is collected at earliest 13:30.

All goods are distributed to each floor by the caretakers, from approx. at 12:00 every working day.
Access Card
To get access to the premises you must have permission from your operation manager. A registration form signed by the group leader, the head of the department and the employee, shall be scanned and sent via email. The manager or receptionist then orders an entry card. The code that is connected to the card must be used with the card at weekdays 17:00-07:00, and on weekends around the clock. Here you can find the registration form. Photography and card handover takes place at Sjukhusvägen 14, entrance C1. Note! Bring valid ID.
Opening hours Monday-Thursday 07:00-15:00, Fridays closed. The access card can be picked up at latest the day after registration.
Temporary cards are available at the reception for persons who will be staying in the building temporarily or for a short time.
Flagging
Flagging is ordered via e-mail to the reception no later than 09:00 everyday before the desired day of flagging.
When ordering, specify the desired date, institution and reason.
Flag routines at the Rudbeck laboratory:
- The flag is hoisted on the middle pole outside the main entrance, at latest at. 09:00, and lowered no later than 16:30.
- Flagging with a foreign flag may only take place when a visit to the University is included as a program point, during a foreign state visit in Sweden, or another official high-level visit. If a foreign flag is desired, the reception must be notified at least three weeks in advance, so that it can be procured.
- The Campus Management does not invoice any costs for performed flagging.

In the event of death, each institution is responsible for flagging on half-mast when an employee of the department passes away. Notification to the reception at tel: 018-471 4858 during regular working hours (weekdays) and to the security company SECURITAS during non-regular working hours (evening hours and weekends). SECURITA's surveillance can be reached at 010-470 10 00 around the clock. The Campus Manager shall always be informed of who has passed away.
Flagging in these cases is made only once, either when the news of a passing reaches the institution, or on the day of the funeral.
